You may have seen the term Private Label Rights or PLR articles being tossed around frequently lately. PLR articles are articles you can buy (usually in packages or as part of a membership) that you may edit and use as you wish. Unlike free reprint articles, you are not required to link back to anyone else’s website which makes them appealing to many web publishers.

Once you understand the concept behind PLR articles, you can see why they are appealing. Most people can envision the value of adding the articles to their websites. But, did you know there are more ways to use PLR articles than that?

1. Add them to your blog.
Similar to adding PLR articles to your website, you can take excerpts and use them on your blog for fresh content. Whether you take a portion and use it as a “tip of the day” or use the entire article, PLR articles can be a huge time saver for you.

2. Send them in your newsletter.
Need content for your newsletter? PLR articles are an option. Of course, if you’re developing a relationship with your readers, you may wish to edit the articles to make them your own voice. However, you can pull a section from a PLR article – use it as inspiration — and whip out a newsletter in minutes.

3. Start an ecourse
If you purchase a package of PLR articles based on a theme, it’s quite easy to turn them into an ecourse simply by adding them to your autoresponder. Something as simple as “Five Ideas for Kids Lunches” can become a 5 day ecourse to grow a big newsletter list.

4. Use them in your podcast
Take a PLR article and use it as inspiration for a podcast. Add the content and you’re done.

5. Send them in a print mailing
Direct mailing is huge. If you have a list of postal mailing addresses, put together a free report from PLR articles and send it out.

6. Create a special report
Simply bulk together some PLR articles that have the same topic, and make them flow into a special report. Turn it into a pdf file and give it away to your website visitors.

See how easy that is? The only hard part is finding a PLR service that is high quality and fits your niche. Look around. Make sure the PLR package or membership you choose provides you with high quality articles so you can create something you’ll be proud of.

Content is King. You’ve probably heard this phrase many times. You are also probably aware that content is key to driving more traffic to your website. That’s great. Now all you have to do is get content on your site and watch them all come.

Wait a minute. Maybe you’re like the thousands of other marketers out there who simply don’t have the time to sit down and write up that content. You could hire a ghostwriter to create them for you,… but that’s only if you’re lucky to have the money to swing it. What happens now? PLR, or private label rights, allows you to keep reaching for your goals without compromising quality.

So, what exactly is PLR?

Imagine waving a magical wand and- poof- content appears already written for you. While there’s no magical wand to get a hold of; you can still achieve magic by having your content pre-written for you to do almost anything you want with. That’s PLR.

Private label rights material allows you to purchase content, within your niche, already created for your needs. All you have to do is to personalize them to accomplish what you want to do on your site. Change them up so they’re a little different than the original and you have good quality content that will help drive more traffic to your site.

Why do I have to change them? Can’t I leave them as they are?

It’s highly recommended that you change the content a little to make it more unique. The reason why that’s important is because that same PLR material will sometimes be sold to heaps more people depending on the site.

If too many people tried to publish the content on their sites without changing them, then you’re likely to hurt your chances with the search engines and you could lose your hard earned credibility with your site visitors.

By making your PLR content more unique; you have a higher chance of standing out from the rest of the crowd of your competitors. Website visitors want fresh, new material; not regurgitated content that’s seen in a ton of different places.

What kinds of PLR content are there?

There are several types of PLR materials available for you to purchase. Let’s list some of the more common ones that others use:

• Articles
• Reports
• eBooks
• Audio and video content
• Recipes

Can I do whatever I want with them?

Well, yes and no. For the most part; yes, you can do pretty much anything you want. It all depends on the site you’re purchasing your content from. Every site is different, but each one will tell you what you can and can’t do with your content rights. Usually, these sites won’t allow you to sell the material again as PLR material, but you could do anything else you want with them.
Exactly what would I do with PLR content?

One of the biggest benefits of PLR material is that there are so many things you can do with the content you purchase. You’re by no means limited in that area. Here are some of the most common uses that others have used their PLR content for:

• Blog posts
• Giveaway reports
• More articles
• Bonus material

Isn’t PLR content expensive?

Absolutely not. Since those, who sell PLR content; sell them to several other people, they can get by offering the material for a lower price. If they sell a pack of 5 articles to 50 people at a price of $5 then they can make $250. Split that up for the 5 articles in the pack and that translates to be $50 per article.

PLR is becoming more of a necessity these days as most people are finding themselves crunched for time to get all their work done. PLR has given many an online marketer back their time for themselves or for their families. Of course, we can’t forget the inexpensive price that all that would bring. If you’re serious about being a success online, you should consider using PLR content for your site and reap the rewards that many others have experienced before you.

Nell Taliercio has been a full time Internet Marketer since 2004. In that time she’s used, written and created countless pages of content. She’s also used good quality PLR as a powerful and important part of her business. Come learn more about PLR articles and compare PLR sources to find the right PLR for your needs. http://www.plrbuffet.com

Utilizing Private Label Rights (PLR) content is just one of the ways online business owners are increasing their sales. You can purchase PLR content and other products to use on your site, in your newsletters and more. Another way to make money is implementing the use of resell rights somewhere in your arsenal of tools.

It is important to know the difference between the abbreviations that are used in online business. PLR stands for Private Label Rights. These products make it easier for an online business to draw traffic to their site, create products and more. With PLR content, you can use it in the format that you purchased it or rewrite it and create a new product. All PLR content can be sold again by the purchaser, but there are almost always certain rules you should follow regarding exactly how you sell that content. You’ll have to check with each individual PLR site to find out what those rules are.

Many PLR users combine their PLR with other products to create something new for their customers. With quality content accompanying your offerings, you can make more money. The number of new products up for sale is now limited by only the creativity of your mind.

For more enterprising business owners, one option to consider is resell rights products. Resell Rights (RR) can be offered to buyers who are looking for ways to build a brand with a variety of new products. It is important to note that resell rights have a different set of rules than Private Label Rights. With Resell Rights, the buyer is able to resell the product with their name on it but cannot in any way alter the product. On this front, you make money by selling the same product you purchased and keeping the profit for yourself.

Here is another twist on the scenario. Purchase a Private Label Rights product and rewrite it to create a whole new product. With the new product, offer Resell Rights to it and you’ll find another avenue for free traffic. Your investment in the whole process was a small amount of money for the PLR product and a few hours to rewrite and create the new product. With a couple of sales, your modest work has paid for itself. By creating your own resell rights products your links stay put even if someone else is selling the product, which drives even more traffic to your site.

Both Private Label Rights and Resell Rights have a place in your online business. When you know the difference between the two you can effectively use them both to increase your visibility with other online businesses and customer sales.

While a million uses may not exactly be correct; it is pretty close. There are so many ways to use your PLR content once you get it that you just may have a hard time deciding what you want to do with yours.

Most helpful guides and reports show you the more popular ways of utilizing them; such as creating more articles for your website and gaining more blog posts to publish on your own business blog. These are great ways to make the most of your purchase, but they certainly aren’t the only ways.

While it would be wonderful to list all of them here, we’ll explore some of the less common ones that still can be powerful for your profit line.

EBooks- EBooks are hard to create from scratch, but they can be much easier to put together if you use your PLR articles, reports and whatever content you purchase. As long as the overall topic is related, you can easily find a way to tie it all into an eBook.

Special reports- These reports can be a great way to entice someone to sign up to your newsletters, add as a bonus item to another informational product or even to sell as an informative report.

Lead Generation report- These work great if you’re selling an eBook or even a special report. These reports are generally smaller than what you’re trying to get your visitors to buy and they don’t usually contain a whole lot of information. They just give a reader a taste of what they could be getting if they buy your intended product.

Newsletter content- Newsletters are a great way to keep your visitors coming back and keeping you in their mind. They provide good information relating to the topic of your site and can entice your visitors to check out what else you have to offer that they could learn more about concerning that subject.

E-Courses- These are short, but very informative educational lessons that people can receive in the email message boxes. A lot of people like to learn something new and they tend to go for these e-courses because they give them information that they can check out in their own time without being bombarded with a 700 page manual. Reports and eBooks are great ways to turn PLR material into a shorter e-course.

Videos- Even though videos are in a different format then what most PLR content comes in; there isn’t any reason why you can’t use some of that material to help you create a video or even a viral video. Use your content to come up with an idea and then take some of that content and develop an outline or even a cheat sheet to provide your listeners.

Audio content/podcasts- You can use your written materials for ideas for podcasts and for an outline of how your audio piece will go. If you do use an outline for your podcast, you consider creating a transcript of your audio content. This would be a great way to make your podcast more valuable to a listener whether you put a price on it or not.

Pile on the bonuses- If you’re selling a high ticket item that people may not be too willing to hand over their money for; then using your PLR content to create bonuses products will help you increase the value of your informational product. A normally $197 offer can seem pretty daunting to someone who’s trying to decide if he would be getting his money’s worth. By adding as many free bonus items as you can, then your high ticket item doesn’t seem so expensive after all.

This list only shows a mere handful of the numerous PLR possibilities that are awaiting you. Just imagine of what you could create with your PLR content that could bring your business to a new level of success.

Nell Taliercio has been a full time Internet Marketer since 2004. In that time she’s used, written and created countless pages of content. She’s also used good quality PLR as a powerful and important part of her business.
I have one final tip for how you can use PLR for your podcast and that is to use them to create audio bonuses. If you have a mailing list you can record an audio using the method described in part 1 of this series and then offer the audio for free to those who sign up for your list. Another way is to use the audio as a bonus to a product your already sell. Well what about guest podcasting? Send the audio to a blogger in your same niche and see if they would be willing to put it up on their blog for their readers to listen to. You don’t have to record audio just for your show. There are a lot of different ways you can use them to benefit your podcast and/or radio show.

Since this is the end of this series, I have actually created an audio using the methods I discussed. I recorded it for use on my personal blog, Courtney Speaks, but will also add it here so that you can see (or rather hear) the outcome.

<itunes:summary>photo credit: eschipul Today wraps up my series on using PLR content for your podcast and/or radio show.nbsp; To recap, in part 1 we discussed how you can create instant content for your show, in part 2 we discussed how to use PLR to brainstorm show ideas, in part 3 we talked about how PLR can help keep your readers interested in between shows, and in part 4 we discussed how you can use PLR as a teaser.

I have one final tip for how you can use PLR for your podcast and that is to use them to create audio bonuses.nbsp; If you have a mailing list you can record an audio using the method described in part 1 of this series and then offer the audio for free to those who sign up for your list.nbsp; Another way is to use the audio as a bonus to a product your already sell.nbsp; Well what about guest podcasting?nbsp; Send the audio to a blogger in your same niche and see if they would be willing to put it up on their blog for their readers to listen to.nbsp; You don't have to record audio just for your show.nbsp; There are a lot of different ways you can use them to benefit your podcast and/or radio show.

Since this is the end of this series, I have actually created an audio using the methods I discussed.nbsp; I recorded it for use on my personal blog, Courtney Speaks, but will also add it here so that you can see (or rather hear) the outcome.</itunes:summary>

One more way to use PLR content is to use private label right articles in your newsletter and/or mailing list. Find PLR article packs that are along the same topic as your show and you can send out the article as a teaser to your upcoming show. Give you readers something to look forward to. This can be a great way of building interest and buzz in your show.

PLR article packs can be a great source of content in between shows or to use as show notes. Once you find a PLR article pack in your niche you can easily incorporate the articles as blog posts to keep your readers coming to your site in between shows. Or if you used the PLR article title for the topic of your show, add the article content as show notes to give your reader a little bit more information about the given topic.

By using PLR content in conjunction with your podcast or radio show you are giving your reason another reason to visit your site and also adding to your credibility as an expert in your field.

Well PLR content can also help you brainstorm ideas for future shows. In fact you don’t even have to purchase PLR article packs for them to help you brainstorm ideas.

First just go to your favorite niche PLR site, or do a Google search to find some relevant sites, and look to see what type of PLR content they are offering for sale. Most PLR sites, including Christian Mom PLR, include a list of titles that each particular article includes. These titles can be a great source of brainstorming.

If the title matches a topic that would be suitable for your radio show or podcast you now have a show topic! Of course, if you want instant content for that show topic, you can also purchase the PLR article pack and follow the instructions I mentioned in yesterday’s post.

Brainstorming is just one way you can use PLR for podcasts and you don’t even have to spend a penny!

When you a purchase a PLR article pack for your particular niche you have an instant podcast ready for you to record. All you have to do is read the articles. Sure you may want to change some things around and make it sound more like you, but the basic premise is the same. With the PLR article pack you just purchased you now have a plan about what to talk about. Your content is taken care of and that’s one less thing you have to worry about.

If you run or are thinking about starting a Christian based podcast, I invite you to check out the different PLR packs we here at Christian Mom PLR offer. There might just be a pack to help you start your first podcast!
